Flexibility in the presentation of data from D365 CRM

As an expert in the field of water treatment, BWT Aqua offers tailor-made devices and services for perfect water in every area of life - from private households to industry and healthcare. As part of the internationally active BWT (Best Water Technology) Group and with more than 420 dedicated employees in Switzerland, we stand for the highest quality and expertise.

To capture our customer data, we use Microsoft D365 CRM. Therefore, our requirement was also to be able to create all customer offers directly in our CRM and send them by e-mail. Data such as customer name, contact details, quote header data, quote items, products, quote texts and images should be automatically integrated into the finished document.

We were able to meet our requirements for an intelligent quotation process with dox42. Based on a Word template, our employees create dynamic quotes with just one click. Not only is existing data inserted, but also certain texts, page ranges, values or images are shown or hidden according to the settings defined in the CRM. The dox42 template even performs calculations, such as that of the expected consumption of operating resources, which results from the performance data of an offered product in combination with quote parameters.

dox42 convinced us especially with the flexibility in the presentation of data. Through conditions for showing and hiding certain quote modules as well as calculations within the document, our quotation creation runs automatically with data from our CRM system and thus saves our team valuable time.
