From complex to easy - using dox42

Austrian Federal Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) provides general framework for infrastructure from rail to road, water and air to telecommunications and technology development in Austria.

The “Oberste Fernmeldebehörde” (OFB) which is part of BMVIT deals with policy matters, legal issues and the necessary technology for telecommunications. Each radio operator – from a small amateur radio operator to a large mobile service provider – is required to report its equipment and frequencies to the OFB. This data is stored and managed in the application “Funk3” implemented by ATOS.

The radio operator has to be provided with an official notification including information about each reported transmitting station. So for big mobile service providers BMVIT is required to create a complex and huge document – often more than 1000 pages long.

Using dox42 these documents are created swiftly und automatically from the “Funk3” application.

As dox42 template design is intuitive to use and easy to learn, BMVIT is now able to change the templates of its official notifications on its own in order to quickly respond to legal changes.
